Heavy clay is the biggest challenge for lawns in much of Northampton. It compacts, drains slowly and bakes hard in summer, so a lawn laid straight onto it rarely thrives.
We break up the ground by rotavating, add screened topsoil to create a proper root zone, then level, firm, rake and feed before laying premium turf. We’re about 25 minutes away along the A45.
